Today, Studio 88 Artist Residency was delighted to welcome Visual Arts (Sculpture) students and their lecturer, Ajarn Namwan, for a study visit as part of the Business for Sculpture course.

Exploring the theme "People and the Different Elements within the Arts Ecosystem," students discovered that an artist's journey is shaped not only by creativity, but also by the people, spaces, and networks that sustain artistic practice.

Our Director, Aom, gave a warm welcome and introduced Studio 88's mission to build a sustainable arts ecosystem where artists and communities can grow together.
The visit included conversations with artists in residence, Tran Minh Chau (Vietnam) and Heather Watt (New Zealand), an interactive workshop, Miko's artist talk and guided tour of the Idiot Killers exhibition by Miko and Fern, and inspiring exchanges with Sak, Studio 88's technical expert, and our international interns, Bente (Norway) and Glade (China).
Thank you for your curiosity, thoughtful questions, and open minds. We hope today's experience encourages you to continue creating, collaborating, and contributing to a vibrant and sustainable arts ecosystem. We look forward to welcoming you back to Studio 88.
