Research by CMU AMS professor and TLOUBI wins grand prize at ‘Venture Co-Creation: Co-Creation From Deep Tech to Startups; from 0-1’

A study titled ‘Modified interferon-gamma for adult onset immunodeficiency therapy’ was selected to present at a workshop on Venture Co-Creation: Co-Creation From Deep Tech to Startups; From 0-1, organised by Technology Licensing Office (TLO), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in partnership with Khon Kaen University under OPS-MHESI’s project to promote potential and career development for Thai intellectual property personnel. The study was awarded the Grand Prize in the Pitching for Venture contest. The contributors were Professor Dr. Chatchai Tayapiwatana from the Division of Clinical Immunology, CMU Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences; Dr. Weeraya Thongkum from CMU Office of Research Administration, Centre of Innovative Immunodiagnostic Development (CIID) and Centre of Biomolecular Therapy and Diagnostic (CBTD); Dr. Sanparwat Vithayasai, and Miss Punthana Khamkhaiao from Technology Licensing Office/University Business Incubator (TLOUBI).
The event aimed to promote understanding about recruiting deep techs with good potential and increasing the reach of research to investors for full commercialisation by speakers from Origgin Ventures Pte Ltd, The Deep-Tech Venture Creator of Singapore. It took place at Mandarin Hotel Bangkok from April 23 – 26, 2023.
