CMU Advances Cmu Hariphunchai Medical Centre Toward Full-Scale Opening

Chiang Mai University is moving forward with preparations for the Cmu Hariphunchai Medical Centre, Chiang Mai University, in Lamphun Province, to ensure its readiness for full-scale operations and expand access to quality healthcare services for people in Upper Northern Thailand.
On the morning of 4 October 2026, Prof. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D. President of Chiang Mai University , together with the university’s executive team and executives from the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, visited the Cmu Hariphunchai Medical Centre in Lamphun to inspect the facilities and assess operational readiness.
The visit covered patient service areas, examination rooms, supporting facilities, utilities, and other essential systems and components to ensure that the center is fully prepared and meets relevant standards before officially commencing full-scale services.
The center aims to expand access to high-quality, standardized medical services that are more convenient, timely, and accessible for people across Upper Northern Thailand.
