CMU placed third nationally in QS World University Rankings 2022

QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a global ranking organisation, announced its 2022 edition of the QS World University Rankings on June 9, 2021. The top three Thai universities were Chulalongkorn University (208th globally), Mahidol University (252nd), and Chiang Mai University and Thammasat University, tied at the third place (601 – 650th).
CMU was ranked 270th for academic reputation, which is the highest weighting indicator, and 326th for employer reputation and these two indicators are the areas in which CMU showed increasingly better results throughout the years.


In the QS Ranking, universities are ranked based on six indicators with different weightings: Academic Reputation (40%), Employer Reputation (10%), Faculty/Student ratio (20%), Citations per Faculty (20%), International Faculty (5%) and International Students (5%).
