CMU MassComm lecturer nominated in WiT Wonder Woman 2022

Assist. Prof. Dr. Alicha Treerotchananon, from the Faculty of Mass Communications at CMU, has been nominated for the 17th WiT Wonder Woman Awards 2022, organised by Women in Toys to honor women who make contributions to the toy industry. There are several categories, including Executive, Influencer Licensor/ Entertainment, License/ Manufacturer, Marketing, and Social Good, in which Dr. Alicha Treerotchananon is the only Thai finalist. The judging panel was intrigued by her project, ‘Magic Toys’, which invited volunteers to sew human organ plush toys and use them during interviews with victims of sexual assaults. (The plush toys have the shapes of the oral cavity, finger, anus and genital organ.) The results will be determined and announced in February 2022, in New York, USA.
