CMUBS international students to join Happy Chinese New Year 2024 Event

February 2, 2024 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jomjai Sampet, Head of the Accounting Department, Faculty of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Puritud Inya, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Accountancy Program (International Program), Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiwuth Tangsomchai and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tulaya Tulardilok, led international students in Accounting to join the festivity of the Happy Chinese New Year 2024 event at Lan Sak, Chiang Mai University.
The event, organized by Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS) in collaboration with International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI) and Robinson Chiang Mai Department Store, aimed to celebrate the Chinese New Year and foster connections among international students and faculty from various institutions.
Mr. Chen Haiping, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, presided over the event with an opening speech, joined by Asst. Prof. Todsaporn Pichaiya, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, who delivered a welcoming address. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), provided an overview of the event. The festivity included food stalls run by Chinese students, a vibrant lion dance, and cultural performances, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
