Academic Collaboration Discussions and Special Lectures by King’s College London, UK

Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, together with the executive team, warmly welcomed Dr. Mary Leamy, Associate Dean for Doctoral Studies and Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Recovery, and Dr. Maria Duaso, Associate Dean for International Education and Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing, from the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care (NMPC), King’s College London, United Kingdom. The visit aimed to discuss academic collaboration and featured special lectures delivered by the distinguished guests. Dr. Mary Leamy presented a lecture entitled "What is Personal Recovery and How Can Mental Health Services Become More Recovery-Oriented?", while Dr. Maria Duaso delivered a lecture entitled "Nurses and Midwives Leading Chronic Disease Prevention: The Case of Tobacco Control." The lectures were attended by students and faculty members on Friday, 16 January 2026, via an online platform and on-site at the meeting room on the 5th floor, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University.
