The signing of MoU ‘Provincial Development in line with Area-based Social and Economic Development’

Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribunditmongkol, CMU President and Chair of Council of University Presidents of Thailand, attended the signing of the MoU ‘Provincial Development in line with Area-based Social and Economic Development’ between Mr. Suttipong Juljarern, Interior Permanent Secretary, Mr. Somchai Lertprasitphongphan, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, Mr. Atthasit Samphantharat, Director-General of the Community Development Department, Mr. Kajorn Srichawanothai, Director-General of the Department of Local Administration, and Mr. Pongsarat Piromrat, Director-General of the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning. This is to drive provincial, provincial cluster, and regional development plans in line with the national plan using a function-area approach, which will share resources to deliver maximum benefits for the country. The ceremony was held at the Northern Science Park, Chiang Mai, on February 19, 2023.
