MIdS CMU and ERDI Hold Meeting on Energy Conservation and Electricity Efficiency Project (CMU-ECI)

On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), in collaboration with Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping, Chiang Mai University (ERDI CMU), organized a meeting to present the implementation plan for the CMU Energy Conservation Initiative (CMU-ECI) project.

The project focuses on promoting energy conservation through the measurement of electricity usage efficiency at the faculty and organizational level, with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions across Chiang Mai University.

During the meeting, MIdS CMU presented its institutional energy consumption data.

Representing MIdS CMU was Assistant Professor Thaneeya Chetiyanukornkul, Assistant Dean of MIdS CMU, who joined discussions with the ERDI team led by:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Itthichai Preechawuttipong, Deputy Director of ERDI CMU
ERDI engineers and technical specialists

The meeting was held at Room 1-101, MIdS CMU.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of MIdS CMU and ERDI CMU to advancing sustainable energy management and supporting Chiang Mai University’s transition toward a low-carbon and environmentally responsible future.
