MIdS CMU Holds Discussion on the Development of the Sustainable Bee Science Program

On Thursday, August 20, 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), led by Prof. Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, welcomed distinguished international and local academics for a discussion on the development of Sustainable Bee Science Program at MIdS CMU.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Euijoon Kil, Vice President for Planning, Gyeongkuk National University, Korea; Dr. Youlong Gou, Yunnan Agricultural University, China; Dr. Zhaopeng Zhong, China Agricultural University, P.R. China; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Therd Ditsayathanawat, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Chair of Sustainable Bee Science Consortium. The meeting was held at Building 1, MIdS CMU.

The discussion focused on potential collaborations for developing the Sustainable Bee Science Program under Integrated Science at MIdS CMU. The initiative aims to foster academic integration and establish a strong international academic network covering Master’s and Doctoral degree programs, student exchange opportunities, and the development of international short-term certificate programs.
