The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized a Special Lecture Session on “Creativity and Innovation in the Age of AI” on 18 August 2026 at Room ICB1102, ICDI Building. The session featured Professor Soo Hee Lee, visiting professor from University of Kent, United Kingdom, as the guest speaker.

The special lecture provided an opportunity for graduate students and lecturers to explore and exchange perspectives on creativity and innovation in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)—a significant area that is increasingly shaping the way we learn, work, conduct business, and develop innovative solutions in today’s rapidly changing digital landscape.

During the session, Professor Soo Hee Lee shared knowledge, insights, and experiences related to creativity and innovation in the context of technological transformation. Participants had the opportunity to engage with the topic through the lecture and interactive exchanges with the guest speaker. In addition, individual and group consultation sessions were offered in the afternoon, allowing participants to discuss their ideas, exchange perspectives, and receive direct advice from Professor Lee.

The event reflects ICDI’s continued commitment to promoting lifelong learning, international knowledge exchange, and the development of essential skills for the digital era. In particular, the session encouraged participants to strengthen their creative thinking, innovation capabilities, and ability to adapt to the rapid transformation driven by AI and emerging technologies.
