ICDI Students Win Four Awards at Speed.so Mini Hackathon & Vibecoding Workshop

International College of Digital Innovation
Students from the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, participated in the Speed.so Mini Hackathon & Vibecoding Workshop, organized by Speed.so, with the aim of promoting hands-on learning in digital innovation development. The workshop emphasized rapid prototype creation through Hackathon and Vibecoding concepts and was open to the general public, including participants from outside the university as well as ICDI students.
The event was held on Sunday, 11 January 2026, at Room ICB1102, 1st Floor, International College of Digital Innovation Building, Chiang Mai University. Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in experiential learning activities focusing on innovative thinking, teamwork, and transforming ideas into practical and scalable prototypes.
During the event, ICDI students demonstrated outstanding creativity, strong digital skills, and effective collaboration, resulting in the achievement of four awards, each valued at 4,000 THB, for a total prize value of 16,000 THB.
The award recipients were:
1. Mr. Wiputdanai Pinkaew
2. Ms. Phuthanik Fongchan
3. Mr. Muhammed Fethullah Kahraman
4. Mr. Nyan Oo Tha
This accomplishment reflects the strong potential of ICDI students in applying digital innovation knowledge in real-world contexts and reinforces the College’s commitment to supporting experiential learning and skill development aligned with the evolving demands of the digital industry.
