MIdS participated in a collaborative meeting to discuss academic and research partnerships with distinguished guests from the Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan.

MIdS Welcomes Delegation from Institute of Science Tokyo for Academic and Research Collaboration
On the morning of Friday, February 14, 2025, the College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, hosted a meeting with distinguished guests from the Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan, led by Professor Dr. Hanaoka Shinya. The discussion was chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of MIdS, and attended by key academic and industry representatives, including:

The meeting focused on strengthening academic and research collaborations in Supply Chain and Logistics Management under the SEED Project, as well as exploring the joint development of sustainable supply chain and logistics management curricula.
In the afternoon, Professor Dr. Hanaoka Shinya delivered a special lecture on "Cross-border Corridor Development and Operation in the Greater Mekong Subregion" to students enrolled in 255230 Industrial Organization Management. The session took place from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM in Lecture Room 6, IE Building, Faculty of Engineering, CMU.
