2 July 2025
Language Institute
Language Institute Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the School of Public Policy at CMU and the International Public Policy Association (IPPA), is co-hosting the 7th International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP7), held for the first time in Chiang Mai from July 1–4, 2025.
The event serves as a global platform for scholars, experts, and practitioners in public policy to exchange knowledge, insights, and practical experiences. The main conference will run from July 2–4 at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (CMECC), with over 1,000 international participants expected to attend.
The conference agenda includes keynote plenary sessions by leading public policy scholars from around the world, as well as a series of multi-session presentations that encourage academic discussion, the sharing of research findings, and professional networking across a wide spectrum of public policy issues.
On July 1, Language Institute hosted the Pre-Conference Day, designed to prepare participants ahead of the main event. Activities included academic workshops and networking sessions aimed at fostering international collaboration among scholars, researchers, and policymakers.
By co-hosting this high-profile international conference, Language Institute Chiang Mai University reaffirms their academic excellence and readiness to support major global academic events. The conference also provides an opportunity to introduce participants to the rich cultural heritage of Lanna, contributing to a unique and memorable experience for attendees.
