Chiang Mai University (CMU) continues moving forward to internationalization. Recently, in the afternoon of November 9th, 2022, the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), CMU, hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Inha University, one of top universities from Incheon, Republic of Korea, leading by Dr. Patison Palee, Deputy Dean and Acting Dean of CAMT; Professor Jangwoo Kwon, Director of National Center of Excellence in SW, Inha university; and Dr. Danaitun Pongpatcharatrontep, Deputy Dean, CAMT; together with Dr. Arinya Pongwat, D.HTM, Director of Corporate Communication and Alumni Relations Center (CCARC); Asst.Prof.Dr. Vorathamon Cherapanukorn, Asst. Dean at Graduate School CMU; Dr. Wantana Areeprayolkij, Lecturer of Knowledge Management and Innovation Program; and Mr. Seung-Ho Ihm, Director of the Institute for IT Planning & Evaluation (IITP).
In this regard, the Faculty discussed further projects and possibilities that are feasible under the framework of the cooperation agreement, such as Smart tourism, AI and Robotics contest, data analytics on particular topics, as well as exchanging program for students, lecturers, or researchers, etc. The Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is an essential beginning pace for building a good relationship between the two institutions. This also includes exchanging technology, knowledge, and resources from two countries to create opportunities and academic strength in AI technology and related fields, as well as enhancing Thai students' potential to be recognized on the global stage. This could also fulfill Chiang Mai University’s Global Partnership goal for collaboration at the international level.
