First Step into University Life! ECON CMU Welcomes Assumption College Lampang Students

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, Ph.D., Associate Dean, together with Asst. Prof. Tatcha Sudtasan, Ph.D., Associate Dean, Jirapa Inthisang Trochim, Ph.D., and Asst. Prof. Woraluck Himakalasa, Ph.D., warmly welcomed teachers and students from Assumption College Lampang, Lampang Province. The visit took place at Meeting Room ECB2602, 6th Floor, Lecture and Multipurpose Building, Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, as part of an educational study tour in economics.

The activity aimed to broaden students’ perspectives by providing them with firsthand experience of university life, while enhancing their understanding of academic programs, student development activities, and the learning environment at Chiang Mai University. This experience plays a vital role in inspiring students and helping guide their future educational pathways.

During the program, the Faculty organized an introduction to its academic programs, guidance on educational and career pathways, and interactive sessions that encouraged open discussion and close engagement through Q&A. In addition, students were given a guided tour of the Faculty’s facilities, allowing them to gain a comprehensive and clearer overview of university-level learning.

This initiative reflects the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University’s commitment to being an open and dynamic learning space that supports educational guidance and empowers Thai youth to move confidently toward their future with clear direction and purpose.
