The Student Quality Development Unit of the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized the “ICDI Hackathon 2026” on September 19–20, 2026, at Green Lake Resort, Chiang Mai.

During the event, students were tasked with designing projects or activities to attract and encourage student participation in ICDI events. The focus was on creating engaging and innovative activities that align with the interests and context of students, while also fostering opportunities for knowledge exchange and relationship-building between Thai and international students. The event aimed to enhance students' skills in critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and activity design. Students collaborated to brainstorm and present concepts for activities that cater to the interests and needs of the international student body.

The ICDI Hackathon 2026 served as a platform to empower students to apply their knowledge and creativity to real-world activity design, while simultaneously promoting international student engagement and fostering a culturally diverse learning community within the college.
