On 18 December 2025, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized a training session entitled “Criteria for Promotion to Higher Positions for University Supporting Staff” under the project Career Advancement Promotion Program for Supporting Staff Fiscal Year 2026 at Room ICB 1205, 2nd Floor, International College of Digital Innovation Building.

On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiwuth Tangsomchai, Associate Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, delivered the opening remarks. The training aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and preparedness among operational and professional supporting staff from the College Office, the ASEAN Studies Center, and the International Research and Academic Services Center, enabling them to develop themselves and advance to higher positions in accordance with the criteria set by the University.

The College was honored to welcome expert speakers from the Human Capital Resources Division, University Office, Chiang Mai University: Miss Manaporn Pongjitpak and Mr. Nontanan Ponplatarapijan. The speakers provided informative lectures, shared professional experiences, exchanged practical techniques, and offered appropriate guidance to help strengthen the capabilities of the College’s supporting staff and support their continuous career advancement.

The training attracted strong interest from the College’s supporting staff. Participants were highly engaged, actively listening to the presentations and taking part in discussions and question-and-answer sessions for each topic. This created a dynamic learning atmosphere and enabled participants to gain a clearer understanding of the relevant procedures and practices.

This training reflects the strong commitment of the International College of Digital Innovation to promoting and developing its supporting staff’s career progression, while continuously enhancing organizational capacity to adapt to change in a sustainable manner.
