**CALL FOR PAPERS**

The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, cordially invites researchers, academics, practitioners, and postgraduate students to submit their research for presentation at the **15th International Conference on Asian Economic Development (AED2026)**.

**Theme**
*Navigating Shocks and Uncertainty: Development Challenges and Resilience in Asia*

**Conference Date:** 23 September 2026
**Venue:** Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, Thailand

The conference welcomes original research on a wide range of topics related to Asian economic development, including but not limited to:

* Household and community resilience
* Health, aging, and human capital
* Poverty, inequality, and social protection
* Agriculture and rural development
* US–China relations and regional economic integration
* Finance, trade, globalization, and geopolitical risks
* Firms, innovation, and structural transformation
* Climate change and environmental sustainability
* Public policy and economic development

A special session will be dedicated to the **Thailand-Vietnam Socio Economic Panel (TVSEP)**. Researchers using TVSEP data or affiliated with the TVSEP project are particularly encouraged to submit their work.

Authors may choose one of the following submission categories:

* Presentation Only (Abstract Publication)
* Presentation with Full Paper (Proceedings Publication)

Submissions may be in the form of an extended abstract or a full paper of up to 7,000 words.

**Important Dates**

* Abstract/Paper Submission Deadline: 23 August 2026
* Notification of Acceptance: 1 September 2026
