NurseCMU Joins International Partners to Discuss Erasmus+ Project Proposal Development

The Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Phanida Juntasopeepun, Associate Dean, together with administrators and faculty members, participated in an online meeting with partner institutions, including Paracelsus Medical University, Austria; Radboud University Medical Centre, the Netherlands; the Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand; and the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, on June 29, 2026.

Representing Paracelsus Medical University were Professor Dr. Nadja Nestler, Professor for Nursing Science and Advanced Nursing Practice; Assistant Professor Dr. Patrick Kutschar, Research Associate; and Karin Kaiser, Research Associate. Representing Radboud University Medical Centre was Associate Professor Dr. Rianne van Boekel from the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Palliative Medicine. The Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University, was led by Associate Professor Dr. Karnsunaphat Balthip, Associate Dean for Research, Social Alliance, and International Affairs, together with administrators and faculty members. Hanoi Medical University was represented by Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, together with faculty members.

The meeting focused on the development of a joint project proposal under the Erasmus+ program, while also discussing future collaboration and the next steps in the partnership. The meeting reflected the shared commitment of the partner institutions to strengthening international academic collaboration and advancing nursing education through partnerships among higher education institutions across Europe and Asia.
