Faculty of Architecture Receives ‘Centenary Architectural Excellence Award’ During Opening Ceremony of Lanna: A Century of Transition Event

On July 7, 2026, at the Sri Ayutthaya Auditorium, King Vajiravudh Memorial Hall, and the National Library of Thailand, His Highness General Prince Chalermsuk Yugala presided over the opening ceremony of the Lanna: A Century of Transition exhibition and presented certificates to recipients of the Centenary Architectural Excellence Award.
Assistant Professor Dr. Pandin Ounchanum, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, together with Ms. Wiphada Supharatpreecha, received the Centenary Architectural Excellence Award and attended the opening ceremony, organized by the National Discovery Museum Institute (NDMI).
The Lanna Architecture Centre, Khum Chao Burirat (Maha Intra), under the Faculty of Architecture, was selected as one of nine award recipients representing the nine Northern provinces. The award recognizes architectural sites that reflect the region's history, architectural heritage and transformation over the past century.
