CMU Welcomes Senate Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Future Communications Innovation

A delegation from the Senate Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Future Communications Innovation, under the Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology, Communications, and Telecommunications, visited Chiang Mai University (CMU) on Friday, November 6, 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and views on the development of the Space Economy, education and workforce development in space technology, and the latest advances in quantum technology research and innovation. Discussions also explored potential collaborations and policy recommendations to support the development of Thailand’s technology and innovation capabilities.

The delegation was led by Mr. Noppadon Pringsakul, Second Vice Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee and Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Future Communications Innovation, together with members of the subcommittee.

Assoc. Prof. Prasert Rerkkriangkrai , Vice President of Chiang Mai University, along with CMU executives, welcomed the delegation at the Phraya Srisivisaravacha Meeting Room, University Office, Chiang Mai University.
