Wiang Wanalai by Assist. Prof. Pisit Sreeprasert Wins Honorable Mentions Prize at OBEC Book Contest 2026

On March 27, 2026, Assistant Professor Pisit Sreeprasert of the Faculty of Mass Communication received an Honorable Mention in the fiction category at a Book Contest organized by the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) for his work, Wiang Wanalai. The award was graciously presented by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during the 54th National Book Fair and the 24th Bangkok International Book Fair, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Khlong Toei, Bangkok.
Written under the pseudonym ‘Niarapatee’, Wiang Wanalai was recognized by the judging panel for its literary excellence. The achievement highlights the faculty’s strong capabilities in both academic and creative domains.
This recognition brings great pride to the Faculty of Mass Communication and serves as an inspiration for students, staff, and alumni to continue producing high-quality work for society. It also reinforces the faculty’s role in cultivating knowledge and developing a skilled workforce in communication arts.
