CMU Receives Chiang Mai Outstanding Organization Award for Provision of Disability-Inclusive Facilities 2025

On behalf of the CMU President, Assistant Professor Dr. Worapod Sereerat, Assistant to the President, received the Chiang Mai Outstanding Organization Award for Provision of Disability-Inclusive Facilities from Mr. Siwa Thamikanon, Vice Governor of Chiang Mai, at the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025 event. The event was hosted by the Chiang Mai Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, in collaboration with networks for persons with disabilities in Chiang Mai and other related agencies. It aimed to honor individuals and organizations demonstrating exemplary support for persons with disabilities, while also promoting positive attitudes among persons with disabilities, their families, and society at large. In addition, the event sought to raise awareness among persons with disabilities in Chiang Mai of relevant government policies, measures, and directions supporting persons with disabilities and their development, as well as to promote fairness and equality across all sectors of society, including equal access to rights and benefits alongside able-bodied individuals. The event was held on December 24, 2025, at Horizon Village and Resort, Doi Saket.
