Donations by Friends in Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross, and Surakiart-Suthawan Sathirathai Foundation to Support Dust-free Room Construction in Child Development Centre

On April 25, 2026, at the M.L. Pin Malakul Room, Office of the University 1, the Friends in Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross, and the Surakiart-Suthawan Sathirathai Foundation, founded by Emeritus Professor Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, contributed 100,000 and 50,000 baht, respectively, towards the construction of dust-free rooms in child development centres and schools in the Northern region. The donations were received by President Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol. The construction project, implemented by the CMU Development Foundation in partnership with Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping (ERDI), aims to protect young children from the health impacts of PM 2.5 in child development centres and schools across Northern Thailand.
