MoU on Blockchain Technology between 3 CMU Faculties 1 College and Bitkub Labs Co., Ltd.

The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Dean Assistant Professor Dr. Chatchawan Chaichana, along with Associate Professor Dr. Santi Phithakkitnukoon, Head of the Computer Engineering Department and Assistant Professor Dr. Kampol Woradit, a faculty member of the Computer Engineering Department, participated as witnesses in the signing ceremony of the MoU between the College of Arts, Media and Technology, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Economics at Chiang Mai University, and Bitkub Labs Co., Ltd. The event took place on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lifelong Learning Conference Room of the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University.

This MoU aims to foster academic collaboration in the field of Blockchain Technology, preparing the CMU staff and students for the era of decentralization. The collaboration includes knowledge exchange, academic activities, curriculum development, and personnel development to achieve ethical and impactful results. The signatories of the agreement are as follows:
  1. Assistant Professor Dr. Worawit Janchai, Dean of the College of Arts, Media, and Technology.
  2. Professor Dr. Torranin Chairuangsri, Dean of the Faculty of Science.
  3. Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
  4. Assistant Professor Dr. Pairat Kanjanakaroon, Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
  5. Sakolkorn Sakavee and Mr. Taweesup Raworan, authorized signatories from Bitkub Labs Co., Ltd.
