MIdS CMU Participates in Chiang Mai University’s Wai Khru Ceremony for the 2026 Academic Year

On Thursday, 2 July 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Thaneeya Chetiyanukornkul, Assistant Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, together with two students from Contemporary Chinese Language Teaching Program representing MIdS CMU, participated in the Chiang Mai University Wai Khru (Teacher Appreciation) Ceremony for the 2026 Academic Year.

The annual ceremony was organized to promote the values of gratitude and respect toward teachers among students. The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, who performed the ceremonial lighting of incense and candles in homage to the Triple Gem, blessed students’ books for good fortune, and delivered an inspirational address to the participants.
