Exhibition : Warm Nest and Blooming Scars

Warm Nest and Blooming Scars conveys the artist's personal experiences and emotions upon stepping into motherhood through fiber art that explores both the tenderness of pregnancy and the physical transformations following childbirth.

Warm Nest presents the growth of a new life and the warm bond between mother and child through wool spheres that represent stages of life development from embryo to infant. Meanwhile, Blooming Scars confronts the post-birth physical traces by combining botanical dyeing and hand embroidery, rendering the body's marks through imagery of blooming flowers.

Together, both works serve as a record of transformation, reflecting that although the body bears the marks of giving birth, those traces can beautifully become symbols of strength, beauty, self-acceptance, and the profound value of motherhood.
