ECON CMU Hosts “Future-Oriented Pedagogy” Training to Advance Teaching and Learning for the Classroom of the Future

On Wednesday, 16 September 2026, from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organised the training programme “Future-Oriented Pedagogy: Advancing Teaching and Learning towards the Classroom of the Future” at Room ECB3202, Building 3.

The session was led by Asst.Prof. Monamorn Precharattana, Ph.D., Lecturer at the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, who shared knowledge and approaches for enhancing contemporary teaching and learning.

The programme aimed to strengthen faculty members’ knowledge and skills in designing and delivering learner-centred education, enabling them to select appropriate learning approaches, technologies, and educational innovations in accordance with individual course contexts and intended learning outcomes.

The training also encouraged participants to translate the knowledge and practices gained into tangible improvements in their own teaching, supporting learning experiences that are effective, contemporary, and responsive to learners’ needs.

Through the initiative, ECON CMU seeks to continuously enhance the quality of teaching and learning and contribute to the development of graduates equipped with the competencies required to respond to future challenges, in alignment with the Faculty’s and University’s missions and long-term educational quality goals.
