Faculty of Fine Arts
Students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in Performing Arts, have achieved remarkable success on the international stage, winning two major awards at the ATOD International Dance Competition 2026, held from March 27–28, 2026, at Aksra Theatre King Power.
They secured First Place in the National Dance, Open (Ensemble), awarded to Ms. Jidapha Jantharasombat, Mr. Jiraphong Chumyen, Mr. Chaichana Wongkham (a third-year student), Ms. Yothinee Pichawong, and Ms. Phirunlak Kanchumnum. In addition, Ms. Jidapha Jantharasombat earned Second Place in the Contemporary Dance, Open (Solo) category.
The students were supervised by Dr. Natphat Pholpikul throughout their training and during the competition.
Organized by the Asian Theatre & Dance Organization, the competition brings together dancers from around the world across a wide range of categories, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, and national dance. With panels of international experts, the event provides a valuable platform for performers to refine their skills and exchange artistic experiences with peers from diverse backgrounds.
