International College of Digital Innovation, CMU organized Digital Innovation and Financial Technology Conference 2023-2 (DIFT2023-2). The conference encourages students to disseminate graduate research results to society and to those interested in using the research results, also to create an opportunity to exchange knowledge and new experiences related to the field of Digital Innovation and Financial Technology between researchers and students. Moreover, this conference is a channel for presenting research results to boost confidence of students, as well as creating a network of cooperation, which may lead to further development in academics and research in the future. In addition, this conference is to comply with the ICDI’s announcement of standards for graduation of graduate programs.

Within the event, there was an academic conference and presentation of academic work by graduate students in the field of Digital Innovation and Financial Technology. Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, gave an opening speech, followed by a keynote speaker presentation by Mr. Poramin Insom , independent president and founder of Satang Corporation Company Limited, on the topic "Tokenization". In this conference, there were 22 academic research works submitted, 5 master's level works and 17 doctoral level works.

ICDI have been honored by the committee of experts from various universities, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bunjira Makond, from Bachelor of Business Administration program, Digital Business Major at Prince of Songkla University, Trang Campus, Dr. Pornpimol Chaisanit, from Service Business Management Program at Mae Fah Luang University and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kittawit Autchariyapanitkul from Maejo University.
The conference was held on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, Room ICB1102, International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University and online via Zoom application.
