Opening Ceremony of CMU Happy Retirement 2026

On March 17, 2026, at the Sawankhalok Room, Khum Phucome Hotel, Chiang Mai, the Human Resource Division at CMU organized an event called CMU Happy Retirement 2026. The event aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of post-retirement income and tax planning, while also providing information on relevant laws, service points, facilities, as well as entitled rights and welfare benefits. The program was attended by 248 CMU staff members, including government officers, university employees, permanent employees, and division employees, who will reach the age of 60 and retire on October 1, 2026. Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President, presided over the opening ceremony, while Assistant Professor Dr. Pitipong Yodmongkol, Vice President, delivered the overview remarks.
