CAMT students win at Global Start-Up Design Thinking Hackathon Day

College of Art, Media and Technology
Students majoring in Animation and Visual Effects and Software Engineering at CAMT CMU won awards at the Global Start-Up Design Thinking Hackathon Day. They collaborated with international peers from South Korea, Vietnam, Russia, Uzbekistan, and China. During the 48-hour competition, participants brainstormed to address challenges, innovate ideas, and present their projects, allowing them to develop relationships and engage in cultural exchanges. At the event, CAMT students received a total of three awards as follows:
• The Grand prize won by Ms. Phinmsiri Suangsawaeng, third- year Animation and Visual Effects student,
• The Gold prize won by Mr. Ratchaphon Nootrungrueang, third- year Software Engineering Effects student,
• The Silver prize won by Ms. Tonrak Nanta and Mr Thaiphat Sukhumphraisan, third-year students in Animation and Visual Effects, and Software Engineering, respectively.
They were supervised by Dr. Thepparit Sinthamrongruk from the Digital Game Department and Ms. Pornpattra Diumkhunthod. The competition took place from January 9 – 12, 2024 at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea.
