MIdS CMU Hosts “Thai Dance & Thai Cuisine” Activity, Offering Students an Immersive Thai Cultural Experience

On Monday, August 17, 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU) organized the “Thai Dance & Thai Cuisine” activity for MIdS CMU students as part of the MIdS Academic Activities Support Project.

Held at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU, the activity provided international students with an opportunity to learn about and experience Thai arts and culture through engaging hands-on activities, while fostering connections and cultural exchange among students from diverse backgrounds.

The learning activities were divided into two parts:

Thai Dance Activity
Students learned basic Thai dance movements while gaining a deeper understanding of Thai performing arts and cultural traditions.

Cooking Activity
Participants had the opportunity to learn how to prepare Thai cuisine through a hands-on cooking experience, allowing them to explore Thai culture through food.

The activity not only provided a fun and memorable cultural experience but also encouraged cross-cultural learning, friendship, and understanding among students in the MIdS CMU community.
