International College of Digital Innovation, CMU, Welcomes Professors from Zuse Institute Berlin and NUS for Railway Logistics Research Project Review Meeting

On 11 January 2026, the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University (CMU), warmly welcomed Professor Dr. Ralf Bornd?fer and Professor Dr. Thorsten Koch from the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB), Germany, and Associate Professor Dr. Ying Chen from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, on the occasion of their participation in the joint research project review meeting, held during 10–13 January 2026 at the International College of Digital Innovation.

The meeting aimed to review and summarize the outcomes of the collaborative research project entitled “Information System Development for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Oversight of Goods Transportation from China to Africa, Europe, Malaysia, and Singapore through the Thai Railway System.” This internationally collaborative research project is funded by the Railway Systems Research and Development Institute (RSRDI).

The project review meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, together with the project working team, comprising executives and faculty members from various disciplines. Key participants included Associate Professor Dr. Manad Khamkong and Associate Professor Dr. Somchai Sriyab, Vice Deans of the International College of Digital Innovation, as well as Professor Dr. Suthep Suantai and Associate Professor Dr. Chulin Likasiri from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on project outcomes, progress to date, and directions for future collaboration.

This visit and meeting reflect the strong commitment of the International College of Digital Innovation and Chiang Mai University to continuously promoting international research and academic collaboration, strengthening global partnerships, and fostering sustainable international research networks.
