Science Students Win Best Innovation Awards at Thailand Research Expo 2022 in the University Student Category

Students from the CMU Faculty of Science won best innovation awards in the student’s category at the Thailand Research Expo 2022 held at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre between August 2 – 5, 2022.
Patcharamai Huajaipet, a fourth-year student Environmental Science major, was placed in the ‘Good’ category in the Innovation Proposal Writing competition, earning a plaque of honour, a certificate and prize money of 5,000 baht. She also won a Gold Medal in the Energy, Environment and BCG Economy Model category for her research titled ‘Filter from Porous Glass with Nano Titanium Dioxide Coating to Degrade Air Pollutants and Eliminate Pathogens.’
Woraprom Passatorntaschakorn, a Ph.D. student in Applied Physics, and Warunee Khampa and Wongsathon Musikpan, master’s students in the same field, were awarded a Gold Medal Medal in the Energy, Environment and BCG Economy Model category for their research titled ‘3Rs: Low-Cost Perovskite Solar Cell Made from Waste for Sustainability.’
