The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, organized the second “Robot Camp AGV” under the project “AGV Engineering: Designing Control Systems for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV Camp).” The event was held on July 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University Academic Service Center, Chiang Mai University. Associate Professor Dr. Manad Khamkong, Vice Dean of ICDI, presided over the opening ceremony.

The camp welcomed more than 65 young participants from schools across Northern Thailand. Through hands-on activities, they learned about design thinking, 3D modeling, C/C++ programming, electrical circuit wiring, and the assembly and control of Automated Guided Vehicles, or AGVs. Faculty members and experienced trainers provided close guidance throughout the activities.

The training helped participants develop analytical thinking, engineering problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills. It also offered a fun and practical learning experience that they can build on in the future.

The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, and the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, together with the faculty members, trainers, and organizing team, would like to thank all parents and participants for their valuable support and contributions to the success of the event. Their involvement helped inspire Thai youth to pursue future paths as innovators and technology entrepreneurs.
