The Webometrics Ranking Universities by Cybermetrics Lab by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) has released its July 2021 rankings, and a total of 194 Thai universities were included. Chiang Mai University placed third in the country, 10th in ASEAN, and 765th in the world.
The indicators were Visibility (50%), Transparency or Openness (10%), and Excellence or Scholarship (40%).
