ICDI, Chiang Mai University Welcomes Delegation from School of Energy and Environmental Science (SEES) Yunnan Normal University to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration

International College of Digital Innovation
The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, together with faculty members and staff, warmly welcomed a delegation from the School of Energy and Environmental Science (SEES), Yunnan Normal University (YNNU), People’s Republic of China. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Xiang Tai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Energy and Environmental Science.
The visit aimed to engage in academic meetings and scholarly exchanges to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions. Key discussion topics included the development of student exchange programs, the establishment of joint research platforms, collaborative research initiatives, and the co-development of knowledge in the fields of digital innovation, low-carbon energy development, and regional sustainable development.
Both institutions expressed a shared commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation through joint research projects, faculty and student mobility, and long-term strategic partnerships that support innovation-driven and sustainable development goals in the region. The meeting was held on Tuesady, 13 January 2026, at the Meeting Room ICB1313 3rd Floor, International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University.
