CMU Signs MOA on Organizational Development with Murata Electronics (Thailand)

On May 19, 2026, the Faculty of Science hosted a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between CMU and Murata Electronics (Thailand). Associate Professor Dr. Winita Punyodom, Vice President, delivered congratulatory remarks, while Professor Dr. Piyapong Niamsup, Dean of the Faculty of Science, welcomed attendees and co-signed the agreement with Ms. Wilasinee Jiwpanya, Senior General Manager of Murata Electronics (Thailand). Executives, faculty members and staff from both organizations were also in attendance. This collaboration will foster activities that generate mutual benefits in areas including research, academic services, personnel and student development, as well as innovations that respond to industry demands. The partnership is also expected to further enhance the faculty’s educational and research standards. The ceremony was held at Meeting Room 2 on the second floor of the 40th Anniversary Building.
