MIdS CMU Organizes Fire Safety and Emergency Evacuation Training Workshop for Staff

On Tuesday, 23 June 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, organized the annual workshop entitled “Basic Firefighting, Fire Drill, and Emergency Evacuation Training Program 2026.”

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of MIdS CMU. The training was conducted by a team of fire safety experts from Chiang Mai Municipality and was attended by MIdS CMU executives and staff members at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of fire prevention and firefighting procedures, while strengthening their preparedness to respond to emergency situations safely, correctly, and effectively. The training was organized in accordance with the Ministerial Regulations on Standards for Administration, Management, and Operations in Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment concerning Fire Prevention and Suppression.
