Faculty of Dentistry, CMU Leaps into the Digital Era with "AI for Work" Empowerment Training.
12 May 2026
Faculty of Dentistry
CHIANG MAI, May 8, 2026 – The Faculty of Dentistry at Chiang Mai University (CMU) is actively driving its digital transformation forward by hosting an intensive training program titled "AI for Work: Enhancing AI Application Skills in the Modern Office." Tailored specifically for support staff across the Faculty Office and the Dental Hospital, the initiative equips personnel with cutting-edge digital skills to navigate and excel in the modern workplace. The workshop was held at Lecture Room 6, Building 2 of the Faculty.
The event was officially inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Poomisak Laowagul, Associate Dean for Human Resources and Corporate Culture. Following the opening remarks, Asst. Prof. Dr. Warit Paocharoen, Associate Dean for Educational Development and Lifelong Learning, took the stage as the keynote speaker, delivering a comprehensive masterclass covering both the theoretical frameworks and real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence.
This strategic project aims to solidify an understanding of digital adaptation while actively developing hands-on skills for integrating AI tools into daily routines—ranging from drafting documents and analyzing data to managing schedules and streamlining corporate communications.
By championing a culture of continuous learning and self-improvement, the Faculty is empowering its staff to effectively deploy AI tools to accelerate workflows and maximize operational efficiency. Beyond technical skills, the workshop successfully sparked innovative ideas among participants to refine work processes, eliminate redundancies, and execute practical "Quick Wins" that will tangibly elevate organizational quality.
