CMUBS Co-Hosts AACSB International Academic Events, Reinforcing Its Role on the Global Stage of Business Education

Chiang Mai University Business School (CMUBS) has been entrusted by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the world’s leading organization in advancing and accrediting quality business education, to serve as a co-host (local partner) for a series of international academic events in the Asia Pacific region.

This opportunity reflects CMUBS’s strong capabilities and readiness to advance business education in alignment with global standards.

As part of this collaboration, CMUBS will host the Assurance of Learning Seminar I (AoL I) during 15–16 June 2026 at its campus in Chiang Mai. The seminar will serve as a key platform for academic institutions accredited by AACSB from around the world to exchange knowledge and best practices in assurance of learning and quality assurance in business education.

This will be followed by the Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference, taking place during 17–18 June 2026 at Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, which will bring together academic leaders and administrators from across the Asia Pacific region to collaborate, share insights, and strengthen partnerships in advancing business education globally. On this occasion, CMUBS is also honored to host the Gala Dinner, providing a welcoming and engaging environment for international participants to connect and build meaningful relationships.

In addition, the Global Standards: Key Changes Workshop will be held on 19 June 2026 at Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, offering participants valuable insights into evolving global standards in business education and accreditation.

Across the five-day program, the events are expected to welcome a significant number of academic leaders, faculty members, and professionals from AACSB-accredited institutions worldwide, highlighting the importance of this regional gathering on the global stage.

This recognition marks another important milestone for CMUBS in strengthening its presence in the global business education community. It also reinforces the school’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and active engagement within the international academic network under AACSB standards.
