Faculty of Economics Organises “Design Your Learning” Programme to Support International Undergraduate Students in Academic Planning
10 July 2026
Faculty of Economics
On Thursday, 9 July 2026, and Monday, 13 July 2026, from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Economics, together with the Faculty's executive team, organised the “Design Your Learning” programme for undergraduate students enrolled in the International Programme. The sessions were held at the Well-being Lifelong Learning Hall to support students in planning their academic journey systematically and effectively.
The programme was designed to help students review and monitor their course registration in accordance with the curriculum structure and study plan, enabling them to manage their academic progress independently and complete their degree within the prescribed timeframe.
In addition, students received essential guidance on selecting the most appropriate academic Track based on their interests, strengths, and future career aspirations. The programme also provided practical advice on preparing for each study pathway, empowering students to make informed academic decisions and maximise their learning experience.
The “Design Your Learning” initiative reflects the Faculty's commitment to student-centred learning by encouraging students to take ownership of their educational journey. Through personalised academic planning and informed decision-making, the Faculty aims to equip students with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in higher education and thrive in an increasingly dynamic global environment.
