Sports Science Program, MIdS CMU, Participates in Program Promotion Booth Activity

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Friday, 13 February 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Jirakrit Leelarungrayub, Assistant Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, attended the opening ceremony of the Healthy Campus Conference for Promoting Health and Wellbeing and served as a guest speaker on the topic “Promoting Physical Activity for the Well-being of University Staff and Students.”
On this occasion, Sports Science Program, MIdS CMU, also organized a program promotion booth featuring various health-related activities for visitors. These included free health assessments, such as muscle mass measurement, foot abnormality screening, arm strength testing, as well as fun interactive games like a prize wheel giveaway. The event was held at Nimman Convention Center, Chiang Mai.
This activity was conducted under the research project entitled “Driving Chiang Mai University Towards a Smart and Sustainable Healthy Organization,” supported by funding from the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth). The opening remarks were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Pitipong Yodmongkol, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, while Associate Professor Dr. Wanicha Puengchompoo, Project Leader of the initiative, presented the report and objectives of the project.
The conference aimed to promote well-being initiatives and sustainability within the university, as well as to expand the Healthy University model for staff and students across the Northern university network.
