Physics Major Wins at 18th Physics Undergraduate Independent Study Contest

Mr. Keerati Chumpraman, an undergraduate student in Physics at the Faculty of Science, was named the first-runner up at the 18th Physics Undergraduate Independent Study Contest. The winner received a trophy bestowed by HRH Galyani Vadhana. The competition was held as part of the Siam Physics Congress 2026 (SPC2026) at Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel in Phetchaburi. Mr. Keerato’s project, titled ‘Multifrequency optical power control in an acousto-optic deflector for optical tweezer applications in quantum simulation’ was supervised by Dr. Nithiwadee Thaicharoen, Assistant Professor Dr. Narupon Chattrapiban and Dr. Phatthamon Kongkhambut.
