CMUBS Co-Hosts AACSB: Assurance of Learning Seminar I and Expands International Academic Networks

On 15–16 June 2026, Chiang Mai University Business School (CMUBS) co-hosted the AACSB: Assurance of Learning (AoL) Seminar I, serving as the venue for the event at the 6th Floor Meeting Room, Building 2, CMUBS. The seminar welcomed business school leaders, faculty members, and professional staff from AACSB member institutions across several countries to exchange knowledge and best practices in Assurance of Learning and continuous quality improvement.

The seminar was led by Professor Venkata (“Venkat”) Yanamandram, Deputy Dean (Global) and Director of Assurance of Learning at the Faculty of Arts, Society and Business, University of Wollongong, Australia. Through a series of interactive workshops and discussions, participants explored key concepts and practical approaches to Assurance of Learning in alignment with the AACSB Global Standards for Business Education.

In addition to supporting the event as the local host institution, CMUBS also encouraged faculty members to participate throughout the seminar. The program provided valuable opportunities for participants to strengthen their understanding of learning assessment, continuous improvement processes, and effective practices for enhancing student learning outcomes.

The seminar also served as an important platform for CMUBS faculty to connect with colleagues from AACSB member institutions around the world, exchange experiences, build international academic networks, and explore opportunities for future collaboration. These experiences contribute to the School’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and student success in accordance with global standards.
