CMU International College of Digital Innovation Hosts "ICDI Fresh Start Camp 2026" to Welcome New Students for Academic Year 2026

The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized ICDI Fresh Start Camp 2026 from 1–2 August 2026 at the Chiang Mai University Hariphunchai Education Center, Lamphun Province, to warmly welcome new students for the 2026 academic year. The camp was designed to help both Thai and international students prepare for university life, build friendships, and develop the confidence to thrive in a multicultural learning environment.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Manat Khamkong, Vice Dean, who delivered a welcoming address and words of encouragement, inspiring students as they embarked on their academic journey at Chiang Mai University.
Throughout the two-day, one-night program, students participated in a wide range of engaging activities aimed at strengthening relationships and developing essential life skills. These included ice-breaking and team-building activities, Thai cultural learning sessions, road safety awareness, mental health and university adjustment workshops, as well as class representative elections and activities to create the identity and spirit of the new student cohort. The program also encouraged leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging within the ICDI community.

More than just an orientation program, ICDI Fresh Start Camp 2026 served as a meaningful platform for learning, friendship, and personal growth. The camp equipped new students with the knowledge, confidence, and essential skills needed to become active members of the ICDI family and Chiang Mai University, preparing them to succeed in an international academic community.
