MNS International Program of Faculty of Nursing, CMU wins Popular Vote Award 2022

Congratulations to the Master of Nursing Science (MNS) International Program of Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University receiving the Popular Vote Award for outstanding graduate courses, Academic year 2022.

The Master of Nursing Science (MNS) International Program is a professional degree that helps students gain in-depth knowledge and expertise in their chosen area of specialization. The program also provides skills that allow nurses to excel in the workplace and in their careers. Graduates from the program are able to respond to the changing needs in healthcare and society and are prepared for the advancements in health science and technology. The program has a strong focus on ethical professional principles and virtues, collaboration, and critical thinking. The MNS is thesis-based and focuses on the development of nursing knowledge in a particular concentration. International students can base their thesis research in their home country.

The MNS International Program offers the opportunity for advanced study in specific fields of nursing science. Students can choose an area of concentration from one of the following choices: nursing administration, adult and gerontological nursing and maternal and child nursing. The program has been designed to foster expert nursing scholars skillful in knowledge development, knowledge management, and research utilization through dynamic classroom activities and guided clinical experiences in diverse learning environments.

On January 24, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Thitinut Akkadechanunt, Chair of the MNS program, will receive this award at Sala Dhamma, Chiang Mai University.
