สถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จัดโครงการพัฒนาบุคลากร หลักสูตรการช่วยชีวิตเบื้องต้น (Basic Life Support: BLS) เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะด้านการช่วยฟื้นคืนชีพ (CPR) การใช้เครื่องกระตุกหัวใจไฟฟ้าอัตโนมัติ (AED) และการรับมือกับภาวะฉุกเฉินทางการแพทย์อย่างถูกต้องตามมาตรฐาน
โครงการจัดขึ้นเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้บุคลากรสามารถให้การช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภาวะหัวใจหยุดเต้นเฉียบพลันได้อย่างทันท่วงที ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการเพิ่มโอกาสรอดชีวิตและลดความสูญเสียจากเหตุฉุกเฉิน
การอบรมกำหนดจัดจำนวน 3 รุ่น รุ่นละ 50 คน รวมผู้เข้ารับการอบรมทั้งสิ้น 150 คน โดยมุ่งหวังให้ผู้เข้าร่วมสามารถนำความรู้และทักษะที่ได้รับไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานและการช่วยเหลือประชาชนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ตลอดจนส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยภายในองค์กร
